Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Arrive independently to Victoria Falls International Airport and join your included transfer to the Ilala Lodge Hotel which is located close to the Falls, shops, markets and nearby restaurants.

At Victoria Falls, the earth splits open and swallows one of Africa’s greatest rivers, the mighty Zambezi, creating the largest sheet of falling water on earth. Various activities are available here (not included in your package), including guided falls visits, white water rafting, bungee jumping, river cruises, helicopter flights and much more. These can be arranged in advance or through the hotel.

Your hotel is located on the Zimbabwean side of the Falls and exploring from this side you get a full-frontal view of three quarters of the falls’ 1.7km wide curtain of water from viewpoints and footpaths meandering through a rainforest kept hot and humid by the spray of the falls.

2 nights’ accommodation at Ilala Lodge with breakfast included.

Chobe River Front
3 - 4Days

Chobe River Front

On the morning of day 3 you will join your transfer to the Chobe River Front Area where you will check into the Chobe Elephant Camp, your home for the next 2 nights. The Chobe Riverfront is an elephant mecca; home to the largest density of African elephants in the world; and offers quality game viewing. Expect hippos, elephant bulls and buffaloes in the waters, and lions, antelopes and more stalking along the water’s edge. This coupled with the famous red Chobe sunsets and abundant birdlife make the area a great introduction to Botswana. It also makes a rewarding repeat journey once you’ve ticked off the big stuff. It’s a place to search for the rare sable antelope, to spot that gem from the birders’ bucket list and to explore the remoter corners. With 2 nights here you will have plenty of time to tick-off that wildlife bucket-list.

Included activities during your time here will be unforgettable game drives to view the region’s spectacular wildlife from open safari vehicles, as well as river safari cruises. Canoeing may also be available (depending on the season) and you can also enjoy a cultural visit to a nearby village.

2 nights’ accommodation at Chobe Elephant Camp on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks (excl. spirits) and park fees included.

Scheduled Activities Included: Game drives, boating, canoeing (seasonal and water level dependent) & village visit.

Okavango Delta
5 - 6Days

Okavango Delta

On day 5 it’s time for your next adventure as you transfer to Kasane Airport for your included charter flight to the fascinating Okavango Delta region. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will transfer to the nearby Gunn’s Camp overlooking the legendary Chiefs Island and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.

The Okavango Delta is an immense, waterlogged oasis alive with elephants and birdlife, adrift in the middle of Kalahari sands, and your 2 days here will be filled with exciting activities based around the waterways and its inhabitants. You will have multiple chances to get up-close to elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, big cats and more as you enjoy included Mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) excursions, motorboat cruises, walking safaris and daily game drives. As well as the big game sightings, the relaxing Mokoro excursions will allow you time to learn about the habits of the smaller animals, sighting birds and learning their calls, as well as identifying plant-life and their medicinal uses.

2 nights’ accommodation at Gunn’s Camp on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks (excl. spirits) and park fees included.

Included activities: Motorboat cruises, Mokoro excursions, daily game drives (during low water levels), guided walking safaris, fishing

Okavango Delta - NG32 Concession
7 - 8Days

Okavango Delta - NG32 Concession

The next two nights will give you the chance to experience another perspective on the stunning Okavango Delta region as you transfer by flight to the Santawani Airstrip and check in to the Rra Dinare Camp. Located in the NG32 private concession, your stay here will allow you up-close access to this exclusive and game-rich area which offers a mixed habitat comprising of the Gomoti River and its channels, lush riverine forests, scenic big open flood plains interspersed with clusters of palm-treed islands and Acacia and Mopane woodlands.

Being within a private reserve, game drives are permitted at flexible times throughout the day, and even at night time. This will allow you every chance to observe some of the abundant wildlife that can usually be found here including Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Kudu, Impala, Tsessebe, Hippo, Crocodile, Genet, Honey Badger and a host of Plains Game. Rare Antelope breeds including Roan, Sable & Eland, not normally seen in the Okavango region, occur here. As the Gomoti is the main water source in the area, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Wild Dog also come down to the riverside to drink and hunt, of course! For those keen on bird-watching, the combination of the wetlands and the drier Acacia and Mopane veldt provide a perfect habitat for a variety of aquatic species.

2 nights’ accommodation at Rra Dinare Camp on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks (excl. premium brands) and park fees included.

Included activities: Game drives, Game walks & mokoro excursions (seasonal, depending on water levels and weather conditions)

Botswana was everything we wanted it to be....spectacular wildlife everywhere and couldn’t believe how close we were! Thank you to your team for all your help in making it possible.
I just want to say a massive thank you for organising our trip to Botswana. From our very first conversation, I knew we were in safe hands, you were so knowledgeable and super-efficient that I had no doubt this was going to be the holiday of a lifetime and it was! Our two children loved every minute, especially the meerkats at Jack’s Camp so thanks for the recommendation and who can forget the bungee jump at Vic Falls!!!! We can’t wait to start planning our next family adventure with you, thank you so much.
There were so many highlights, where to start! Seeing Victoria Falls for the first time, the hot air balloon ride over the delta, watching wild dogs chase a leopard at Selinda, quad biking over the Salt Flats, the list goes on. This really was a trip that will stay close to our hearts for a very long time. The whole Wildfoot Team went the extra mile for us from beginning to end and we can’t thank you enough, we will happily recommend you to friends and family in the future.
The tented camps worked well and the bathrooms were more civilised than expected so feel we made the right choice after all. Really enjoyed the range of activities offered at each of the camps, the mokoro ride and walking safaris being particular good. Got lucky and saw a pride of lions take down a buffalo at Savuti and a wild dog kill at Mfuwe. No lucky with cheetah unfortunately, but now we have a reason to go back!
As expected, I have fallen in love with Botswana, without a doubt head and shoulders above any other safari experience. I was so lucky with wildlife with big cat sightings most days, several packs of wild dog and even a pangolin! There is nothing I would have wanted to change, a fantastic holiday from beginning to end, thank you so much for all your help and guidance thorough out.
It was a real privilege to have such an outstanding and knowledgeable guide - he was excellent company. The tents and camps were first-rate in terms of comfort, service and location.
We have recently returned from a holiday to Botswana that you organised for us and we just want to say thanks for all the work that you put into it. The holiday was fantastic - hotels/lodges were great, wildlife spectacular, people friendly, guides flexible and knowledgeable and the variety of locations perfect. The time of year was ideal for seeing the beginning of the change in the landscape at the start of the rainy season. All the arrangements ran like clockwork and there was even somebody there at Maun airport at the end of our trip to ensure all had gone well. We will certainly consider using Wildfoot again for our future travel plans.Thank you again.
Fabulous knowledge and customer service. Only back a week and already planning our next trip with them - surely that says it all
