Overlooking the Victoria Falls Bridge and gorge, it is one of the most famous hotels in Africa and is renowned for its elegance and charm.
At Victoria Falls, the earth splits open and swallows one of Africa’s greatest rivers, the mighty Zambezi, creating the largest sheet of falling water on earth. Various activities are available here (not included in your package), including guided falls visits, white water rafting, bungee jumping, river cruises, helicopter flights and much more.
Your hotel is located on the Zimbabwean side of the Falls and exploring from this side you get a full-frontal view of three quarters of the falls’ 1.7km wide curtain of water from viewpoints and footpaths meandering through a rainforest kept hot and humid by the spray of the falls.
2 nights’ accommodation at Victoria Falls Hotel with breakfast included.
Chobe National Park
After breakfast this morning you will join your transfer to the Chobe National Park area where you will check into the beautiful Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent lodge within the boundaries of the park. This well-established lodge is the perfect spot from which to explore the wonders of the park and its remarkable wildlife. The Park and the Chobe River Front are famous for an abundance of elephants, a variety of predators including lions and leopards, and other iconic species such as Zebra, buffalo, antelope, giraffe and much more.
During your time here you can enjoy front-seat access to the prolific wildlife, abundant birdlife and incredible scenery, including the famous Chobe sunsets. Scheduled game drives will see you set off in open 4X4 safari vehicles led by professional guides to search for up-close wildlife experiences, and guided cruises on specially designed riverboats will allow you to enjoy the wild beauty of the Chobe River whilst searching for sightings of wildlife along the river’s edge. Guided birdwatching experiences are also available.
2 nights’ accommodation at Chobe Game Lodge on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks (excl. spirits) and park fees included.
Scheduled Activities Included: Game drives and River Safaris.
Suvuti - Chobe National Park
It’s now time to fly west to discover another side of the Chobe National Park, the Savuti area which offers another perspective on the Park and has its own diversity of habitats, wildlife and landscapes that are simply a delight to explore. Your included charter flight will take you from Kasane airport to the Savuti Airstrip from which you will transfer to the tranquil Savute Safari Lodge.
Over the next 2 days you will enjoy included game drives into the National Park to enjoy time among Africa’s largest populations of elephants. But it’s not just elephants you will be on the lookout for. Big cats are often on the prowl, from leopards to lions, and depending on the season, you will also experience the great migrations such as zebra and antelope. Rare sightings might include the endangered wild dog, rock-climbing klipspringers and the elegant roan antelope.
Although prolific, the area isn’t just about the wildlife, it’s also a feast for the eyes. Whitewashed skeletal trees set against green grass and huge blue skies, blinding red sunsets that spill purple and orange across the bush, and endless horizons that fade into a hazy mirage with the heat.
Out in the bush, where rocks rear up among stony hills you will find a collection of paintings that take your breath away. These works by Bushmen are thought to be more than 1,500 years old—beautiful images of elephant, giraffe, sable and eland antelope. You can enjoy a guided trip to these paintings as well as a visit to the famous Savute Marsh.
2 nights’ accommodation at Savute Safari Lodge on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks (excl. spirits) and park fees included.
Scheduled Activities Included: Day game drives and visit to Bushmen paintings.
Moremi Game Reserve
Your next adventure will take you to the iconic Okavango Delta region as you take another charter flight, this time to the Xakanaxa Airstrip close to the Moremi Game Reserve in the eastern extremity of the Delta. Your accommodation here will be the welcoming Camp Moremi which is situated on the picturesque Xakanaxa Lagoon within the Moremi Game Reserve and is a wildlife haven, with incredible game viewing opportunities year-round.
The Moremi Game Reserve is all about searching for big game; where the habitats are as diverse as the wildlife itself. Water-adapted antelopes and wary-eyed buffaloes spill out into floodplains, behind towering woodlands where leopards hide on the high branches. Dead trees cast silhouettes over elephant-filled savannas a stone’s throw from papyrus-fringed channels stretching out to the delta beyond. When you arrive in the Moremi Game Reserve, it’s anyone’s guess what you’ll find lurking in the long grass. From wild dogs stalking waterbucks to long sunsets by a hippo-filled lagoon, the scenes will live on in memory long after the journey home.
The activities on offer here are designed to bring you up-close to this, with game drives in open safari vehicles allowing you to explore the diverse range of habitats within the reserve – from open floodplains to belts of mopane woodland. For a different perspective, you can venture out onto the open waters of the Okavango by motorboat, visiting the Xakanaxa Lagoon and beyond up to the seasonal heronry at Gadikwe.
2 nights’ accommodation at Camp Moremi on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks (excl. spirits) and park fees included.
Scheduled Activities Included: Morning & afternoon game drives / Guided motorised boating trips.
Makgadikgadi Pans National Park
On day 9 it’s time to make your way to the final destination of your safari tour as you transfer back to the airstrip for your included charter flight to the Leroo La Tau Airstrip to start your exploration of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The Leroo La Tau lodge sits above the Boteti River which stretches across the western border of the Park, where the Okavango Delta finally fades into desert. The Boteti River draws a line in the sand, separating the dry Makgadikgadi from the thirst lands of the Kalahari beyond.
Game drives in the park, populated by up to 30,000 zebra and wildebeest closely accompanied by predators, offer guests the chance to experience the exhilaration of seeing large concentrations of game and the resultant predator interaction. Having explored the area and enjoyed a spectacular wildlife phenomenon on guided day and night game drives, guests can retire after dinner to a splendid fireplace overlooking the river. The lodge also offers a raised hide above the river where guests can enjoy the spectacular wildlife sightings that we’ve come to expect in this part of Botswana.
Optional cultural excursions can be arranged to Khumaga Village, as can guided nature walks in the area surrounding the lodge. Please note: Owing to their remote location within the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, the Makgadikgadi Pans themselves are not visited during 2 day stays here. Extensions to your safari trip are available should you wish to stay longer to allow for time to visit the Pans.
2 nights’ accommodation at Leroo La Tau on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks and park fees included.
Scheduled Activities Included: Game drives and cultural excursions.
End of Tour
As your Botswana safari tour sadly comes to an end, you will transfer back to the airstrip for an included charter flight to Maun Airport where your itinerary will conclude. Please get in touch if you would like any advice or help with organising onward or homeward flights.

What Our Customers
Botswana was everything we wanted it to be....spectacular wildlife everywhere and couldn’t believe how close we were! Thank you to your team for all your help in making it possible.
I just want to say a massive thank you for organising our trip to Botswana. From our very first conversation, I knew we were in safe hands, you were so knowledgeable and super-efficient that I had no doubt this was going to be the holiday of a lifetime and it was! Our two children loved every minute, especially the meerkats at Jack’s Camp so thanks for the recommendation and who can forget the bungee jump at Vic Falls!!!! We can’t wait to start planning our next family adventure with you, thank you so much.
There were so many highlights, where to start! Seeing Victoria Falls for the first time, the hot air balloon ride over the delta, watching wild dogs chase a leopard at Selinda, quad biking over the Salt Flats, the list goes on. This really was a trip that will stay close to our hearts for a very long time. The whole Wildfoot Team went the extra mile for us from beginning to end and we can’t thank you enough, we will happily recommend you to friends and family in the future.
The tented camps worked well and the bathrooms were more civilised than expected so feel we made the right choice after all. Really enjoyed the range of activities offered at each of the camps, the mokoro ride and walking safaris being particular good. Got lucky and saw a pride of lions take down a buffalo at Savuti and a wild dog kill at Mfuwe. No lucky with cheetah unfortunately, but now we have a reason to go back!
As expected, I have fallen in love with Botswana, without a doubt head and shoulders above any other safari experience. I was so lucky with wildlife with big cat sightings most days, several packs of wild dog and even a pangolin! There is nothing I would have wanted to change, a fantastic holiday from beginning to end, thank you so much for all your help and guidance thorough out.
It was a real privilege to have such an outstanding and knowledgeable guide - he was excellent company. The tents and camps were first-rate in terms of comfort, service and location.
We have recently returned from a holiday to Botswana that you organised for us and we just want to say thanks for all the work that you put into it. The holiday was fantastic - hotels/lodges were great, wildlife spectacular, people friendly, guides flexible and knowledgeable and the variety of locations perfect. The time of year was ideal for seeing the beginning of the change in the landscape at the start of the rainy season. All the arrangements ran like clockwork and there was even somebody there at Maun airport at the end of our trip to ensure all had gone well. We will certainly consider using Wildfoot again for our future travel plans.Thank you again.
Fabulous knowledge and customer service. Only back a week and already planning our next trip with them - surely that says it all
