Our popularitinerary Suggestions

All our itinerary holidays are fully customisable

Longyearbyen - Embark
1Day

Longyearbyen - Embark

Your small group Arctic expedition begins in Longyearbyen, the most northernly town in the world, where after arriving independently you will transfer to the port to board your vessel. After a welcome briefing from your captain and expedition team, you may want to make your way to the deck to watch for whales and other marine wildlife as we set sail through the majestic Adventfjord and into the Isfjord to begin our Svalbard exploration.

Prins Karls Forland & Sea Ice
2 - 3Days

Prins Karls Forland & Sea Ice

The first stop of your adventure will take you to the beautiful uninhabited island of Prins Karls Forland, where we will hop in the Zodiac boats to make land to search for the island’s large walrus haul out. In the afternoon you can participate in a wilderness hike in search of sightings of Svalbard reindeer. The following day we will attempt to sail up to the edge of the sea ice that extends all the way to the North Pole, during which time we will be on a constant lookout for sightings of polar bears hunting on the ice.

Throughout your time in Svalbard, your onboard photography experts will offer tuition on capturing the perfect shots and all opportunities for incredible wildlife and scenery photography will be taken.

Exploring the North-West Coast
4 - 7Days

Exploring the North-West Coast

Over the course of the next 4 days you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself completely in the stunning natural wonders of Svalbard and Spitsbergen’s northwest coast. There will be no exact set itinerary for these days as your experienced captain and crew map out unique routes and exciting areas for exploration. Each day will bring a new experience, with Zodiac cruises along the coasts and shore visits and walks taking you to many natural and historical sites such as glaciers and abandoned whaling stations and Russian mining towns. All the time you will be on the lookout for sightings of iconic Arctic wildlife.

Hornsund
8Day

Hornsund

We now plan to sail south along Spitsbergen’s west coast to spend the day exploring the incredibly scenic Hornsund or Bellsund areas. Here we will sail around the ice-filled fjords in search of the Polar bears that are often found in these regions.

Longyearbyen
9Day

Longyearbyen

Your Arctic photography cruise concludes back in Longyearbyen where it will sadly be time to bid farewell to your crew and new-found friends. Upon disembarkation a transfer will be provided to the airport or to a hotel should you wish to spend more time in this unique town.
