Victoria Falls
1 - 2Days

Victoria Falls

Arrive independently to Victoria Falls International Airport and join your included transfer to the Pioneers Hotel which is located in the quiet suburbs of Victoria Falls’ residential area, 2.5 kilometres from the Falls.

At Victoria Falls, the earth splits open and swallows one of Africa’s greatest rivers, the mighty Zambezi, creating the largest sheet of falling water on earth. Various activities are available here (not included in your package), including guided falls visits, white water rafting, bungee jumping, river cruises, helicopter flights and much more. These can be arranged in advance or through the hotel.

Your hotel is located on the Zimbabwean side of the Falls and exploring from this side you get a full-frontal view of three quarters of the falls’ 1.7km wide curtain of water from viewpoints and footpaths meandering through a rainforest kept hot and humid by the spray of the falls.

2 nights’ accommodation at Pioneers Victoria Falls with breakfast included.

Chobe River Front
3 - 5Days

Chobe River Front

On the morning of day 3 you will join your transfer to the Chobe River Front Area where you will check into the Chobe Elephant Camp, your home for the next 3 nights. The Chobe Riverfront is an elephant mecca; home to the largest density of African elephants in the world; and offers quality game viewing. Expect hippos, elephant bulls and buffaloes in the waters, and lions, antelopes and more stalking along the water’s edge. This coupled with the famous red Chobe sunsets and abundant birdlife make the area a great introduction to Botswana. It also makes a rewarding repeat journey once you’ve ticked off the big stuff. It’s a place to search for the rare sable antelope, to spot that gem from the birders’ bucket list and to explore the remoter corners. With 3 nights here you will have plenty of time to tick-off that wildlife bucket-list.

Chobe Elephant Camp benefits from a location on the West side of the park where the entrance is only shared with four lodges, compared to the East Gate which is shared by around 20 lodges so can often be a little congested. Included activities during your time here will be unforgettable game drives to view the region’s spectacular wildlife from open safari vehicles, as well as river safari cruises. You can also enjoy a cultural visit to a nearby village. Canoeing excursions are also available for an additional cost.

3 nights’ accommodation in a Chalet at Chobe Elephant Camp on a fully-inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks (excl. spirits) and park fees included.

Scheduled Activities Included: Game drives, boating safaris & village visit.

Okavango Delta
6 - 8Days

Okavango Delta

On day 6 it’s time for your next adventure as you transfer to Kasane Airport for your included charter flight to the fascinating Okavango Delta region. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will transfer to the beautiful Sable Alley Camp which lies along the Khwai River in the Khwai Community Concession, one of the most diverse areas in northern Botswana

The Okavango Delta is an immense, waterlogged oasis alive with elephants and birdlife, adrift in the middle of Kalahari sands, and your 3 days here will be filled with exciting activities based around the waterways and its inhabitants. You will have multiple chances to get up-close to elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, big cats and more as you enjoy included Mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) excursions, walking safaris, and morning, afternoon, and evening game drives. As well as the big game sightings, the relaxing Mokoro excursions will allow you time to learn about the habits of the smaller animals, sighting birds and learning their calls, as well as identifying plant-life and their medicinal uses. Optional activities available for an additional fee here include motorboat cruises and scenic helicopter flights over the Delta.

3 nights’ accommodation in a Family Tent at Sable Alley Camp on a Fully Inclusive basis with all meals, local drinks, mentioned activities and park fees included.

Camp Kalahari accepts children of all ages and makes for a fantastic family safari destination.

The Makgadikgadi Salt Pans are all that remains of a great lake which once covered most of northern Botswana, fed by rivers carrying salts. The most iconic pans, Ntwetwe and Sua Pan provide breathtaking vistas of blinding white salt flats reaching far into the horizon.

Activities included at Camp Kalahari include getting up close and personal with a visit to the resident family of habituated Meerkats, walking with a group of Zu/’hoasi Bushmen for a glimpse into their ancient culture as they teach guests how they have survived in the vast area, game drives to experience unique desert wildlife and a visit to the fallen Chapman’s Baobab, campsite of famed explorers including Livingstone, Selous, Chapman and Baines. Prior to its fall, Chapman’s Baobab was one of the three largest, oldest living trees in Africa. The fallen tree is still awe-inspiring sight.

The highlight here for all the family will undoubtedly be an unforgettable quad biking experience across the vast Makgadikgadi Salt Pans (only available in the dry season of April to October). In the wet season (Nov to March) guests can experience the spectacular migration of zebra and wildebeest. This is the second biggest in Africa and the last remaining in Southern Africa.
