Embark on an unforgettable voyage through West Greenland aboard the state-of-the-art Ocean Albatros, exploring a dramatic Arctic wilderness shaped by ice, tides and tradition. With good chances of witnessing the northern lights, this journey offers the added magic of seeing the aurora shimmer above Greenland’s ice-filled bays, remote settlements and silent polar landscapes.
From colourful coastal communities and vibrant towns to vast glaciers, deep fjords and towering mountains, the voyage combines Greenland’s rich cultural heritage with breathtaking natural wonders. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord, marvel at colossal icebergs, and discover remote settlements where life is still closely connected to the rhythms of the Arctic.
The package includes return flights between the UK and Copenhagen, plus overnight stays before and after the voyage at a convenient Copenhagen airport hotel. Your expedition begins in Kangerlussuaq, sailing north to Sisimiut, Qeqertarsuaq, Uummannaq and the spectacular Disko Bay region, with Zodiac landings, wildlife opportunities and warm Greenlandic hospitality along the way.
