Situated on Costa Rica's Northeast Caribbean coast and accessible only by boat the Tortuguero area is renowned for its spectacular array of flora and wildlife that captures the imagination of even the most intrepid traveller and this authentic eco-friendly lodge captures this jungle essence perfectly. Partake in the many activities on offer including kayaking tours into Tortuguero National Park and Turtle nesting tours before returning to the lodge for relaxing swim or a signature Caribbean cocktail.
Grano de Oro, San Jose
In Costa Rica, the term “Grano de Oro” is used to refer to the coffee bean, their “Grain of Gold”. The founders of this boutique hotel fell in love with the idea that such a small fruit could be so valuable!
In the heart of San José, the famous Grano de Oro Hotel is a surprising oasis in the concrete jungle of the city. Grano de Oro is a beautiful option for families, couples and anyone looking for boutique-style services and luxury accommodations in downtown San José.
Lapa Rios Eco-Lodge
The 17-Bungalow lodge has been operating since 1993 and is recognised globally for its efforts to preserve over 1,000 acres of lush rainforest, both primary and secondary. The resort also contributes to the growth of the surrounding community.
At Lapa Rios, guests will experience the tropical rainforest in unique ways, encountering the area's wildlife, and engaging in oceanic activities. Whether one is adventurous or seeking tranquillity, Lapa Rios offers a wealth of opportunities to connect with the mysterious ecosystem.
The lodge offers an intimate and genuine experience that's luxurious, educational, and inspiring. Guests can enjoy interpretive hikes, bird-watching walks, sustainability tours, and more to gain a true understanding of the Osa Peninsula's wild and vibrant environment.
Nayara Tented Camp
Nayara Tented Camp, one of the first of its kind in Central America, was inspired by the luxurious canvas lodges found in Africa and Asia. Situated within the Arenal Volcano National Park, the camp boasts opulent and spacious tents spanning 1,700 square feet. These tents were built at a higher altitude on the hillside to provide guests with unobstructed views of the Arenal Volcano.
For groups of multigenerational travellers or like-minded individuals, two identical connecting tents are available. Alternatively, couples and guests seeking privacy can book individual units. The Camp's indoor/outdoor design seamlessly blends contemporary, luxurious elements with a unique sense of place. The suites, reminiscent of traditional African safari-style tents, incorporate a Costa Rican touch, featuring canopy beds with botanical headboard murals, private plunge pools fed by natural mineral hot springs, and double-head outdoor showers.
Pacuare Lodge
Pacuare Lodge blends lavish amenities, exceptional hospitality, and a renowned commitment to sustainability with the extraordinary offerings bestowed upon it by the Pacuare River. The collection of bungalows comprises individual residences, distinct from one another, and situated within easy reach of the restaurant and reception. While they are close enough to make your way to dinner without losing your way, they are also far enough into the rainforest that you can fully engage with the enchanting natural environment that surrounds you.
