Explore Tortuguero National Park, a unique destination in Costa Rica, with a 2-night stay. Enjoy a relaxing boat transfer through stunning natural settings for the best wildlife viewing. Take an early morning private transfer to La Pavona and navigate the beautiful Tortuguero Canals. This park, accessible only by boat or air, boasts a tropical rainforest, coastline vegetation, mangrove swamps, and lagoons, home to over 300 bird species, 50 fish species, and 160 mammals. After breakfast, depart Tortuga Lodge by boat to La Pavona where you will be met by Pacuare Lodge staff for a land transfer to the lodge. Check in and receive a welcome cocktail at the award-winning Pacuare Lodge, one of the best luxury eco-lodges in Central America. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the lodge's facilities.

Wake up to the sound of birds and the river and head to the main lodge for a delicious homemade breakfast. Choose from a variety of exciting and included on-site tours, such as the Pacuare Canopy Adventure, Canyoning El Tesorito Creek, Cabecar Indigenous Hike, Ancient Trail & Hidden Waterfall Hike, Bajo del Tigre & Nairi Awari Reserve Hike, Night Walk, and Rural Experience. Whitewater rafting and Arenal Volcano

This morning we embark on a thrilling rafting adventure down the river, surrounded by breathtaking rapids, gorges, waterfalls, and nature. A tasty sandwich, fruit, and sweets lunch will be served by the river. Pacuare is known for its lush rainforests and exotic wildlife and has been recognized as one of the top 10 river trips by National Geographic. At the end of the rafting trip in Siquirres, change into dry clothes for your private transfer to the Arenal Volcano for a 3 night stay at Nayara Tented Camp.

Today, go on a private guided walk at the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges to explore the rainforest from a bird's eye view. Your guide will educate you on Costa Rican culture, history, and nature as you spot various plants, animals, and birds. After this, visit the Arenal Volcano Park, including a hike at its base, to see the magnificent active volcano and its surrounding tropical forest and petrified lava flows. This morning, kayak along the Peñas Blancas River and see the diverse wildlife and birds of Costa Rica, including monkeys, reptiles, toucans, and more. End the tour at Ranch "La Cocina de Tita Yolanda" and learn about coffee, chocolate, and cane sugar in a garden tour, in the afternoon, you have free time to relax or explore the area on your own. Travel to El Tanque Airstrip for a chartered flight to Puerto Jimenez in the Osa Peninsula where you will transfer to the Lapa Rios Lodge and Check-in and relax for the rest of the day. The Osa Peninsula is known for its high biodiversity and is recognised by National Geographic as having the highest biodiversity in the world.

Monteverde Cloud Forest

After breakfast, depart from Lapa Rios Lodge and transfer to Puerto Jimenez to board a chartered flight to Aranjuez airstrip, near Monteverde. Upon arrival, transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge, check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Monteverde is a secluded plateau located in the Tilaran Mountain Range and is known for its rich ecological system and cloud forest habitat. Founded by North American Quakers in 1951, Monteverde's high altitude and cool climate make it a unique destination to explore the area's nature and wildlife.

On the morning of the second day rise early for a guided tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Spanning 10,500 hectares, the private reserve is home to a diverse array of flora and fauna, including over 400 species of birds, including the majestic quetzal. With a network of trails offering varying levels of difficulty, you'll have the opportunity to explore this stunning area and discover its rich natural beauty. Return to the hotel by noon and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.
