Formerly the MS Midnatsol, MS Maud is one of the larger vessels sailing in the Polar regions. The ship has a 1X ice classification and is equipped with advanced technology allowing it to roam these regions with ease. The ship offers premium expedition comfort and features bright interiors in a classic Art Deco style. There are 3 excellent onboard restaurants where high quality, delicious dishes from local suppliers are served, and a fantastic panorama Explorer Lounge & Bar where guests can enjoy a refreshing beverage accompanied by spectacular views. There is also an outdoor observation deck, an impressive Science Centre, a lecture hall, a library, a gym and a sauna with wonderful views.

The ship offers a mixture of well-appointed cabins and suites with options for singles, doubles/twins, triples and family groups. All cabins and suites have private bathrooms. Choose from Polar Inside cabins, Polar Outside cabins with windows or portholes, Arctic Superior cabins, or luxurious Expedition Suites, some of which feature a private balcony.
