All our itinerary holidays are fully customisable

Cancun - Arrive
1Day

Cancun - Arrive

Your luxury Belize and Honduras expedition cruise itinerary will begin in the Mexican city of Cancun where upon arriving independently to Cancun International Airport you will be met by a tour representative who will transfer you to a nearby airport hotel for an included overnight stay.

Fly to Belize - Embark
2Day

Fly to Belize - Embark

This morning you will transfer back to the airport for your included flight to Belize City. Upon arrival in Belize, you will take your transfer to the port to embark your luxury expedition ship and set sail for your memorable Central American cruise.

Punta Sal
3Day

Punta Sal

Your first stop will bring you to the municipality of Tela where we will anchor close to the beautiful Punta Sal National Park, or Jeannette Kawas National Park as it also known, where between coral reef and green jungle, the park unveils a succession of white sandy coves along its coastline giving onto crystal-clear waters in a marvellous palette of blues. Here you can enjoy your first exciting Zodiac dinghy cruise as we weave around the mangroves, lagoons and rivers in search of the plentiful wildlife that resides here.

Guanaja
4Day

Guanaja

We now make our way to one of Honduras’ finest hidden treasures as we reach the little-known paradise of Guanaja, a wild and remote island where lush vegetation and idyllic deserted beaches create the most beautiful backdrop to exploration. The Caracoles people will welcome you and share their traditions with you on the small key of Bonacca (also known as The Cay).

The colourful coral reefs here attract diving enthusiasts from all over the world and certified divers who have chosen to purchase the expedition diving package will have the opportunity to see exactly why! This jewel of the Caribbean Sea also shelters a mangrove whose secrets you will attempt to discover as you explore it during a Zodiac outing, and on accompanied hikes through a rainforest dotted with majestic waterfalls you can search for a wide variety of birdlife.

Cayos Cochinos
5Day

Cayos Cochinos

Today we reach the magnificent Les Cayos Cochinos, an archipelago made up of two islands, Cayo Menor and Cayo Grande, and thirteen coral cays. The highlight here is undoubtedly its underwater scenery as it is situated on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System in a marine reserve where multitudes of tropical fish scatter and weave through the colourful coral gardens. Water-based activities will be offered here including snorkelling, but you may simply wish to enjoy a leisurely swim surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the area.

Cuero y Salado & Water Caye
6Day

Cuero y Salado & Water Caye

Our first stop this morning will take us to the wildlife-rich Cuero y Salado National Park, a magnificent reserve along the estuaries of the Cuero, Salado and San Juan rivers where there are excellent opportunities for observing the area’s fantastic flora and fauna. On a boat cruise across the mangrove you can hope for sightings of monkeys dancing from branch to branch, turtles, caimans and brightly coloured birds filling the skies and trees.

We will then make our way back to Belize waters and to the picture-postcard Water Caye off the island of Utila where you can delight in some swimming or snorkelling surrounded by the idyllic white-sand beaches lined with palms and coconut trees.

Placencia
7Day

Placencia

Placencia beckons travellers with the opalescence of its idyllic beaches and the blue hues of the Caribbean Sea that edges it. Lying in the south of Belize, in the Stann Creek District, this former fishing village exudes an Afro-Caribbean atmosphere in an unspoiled paradise combining brightly-coloured traditional houses and enchanting scenery. A veritable nature sanctuary both on land and at sea, Placencia has become an increasingly popular eco-destination in the Caribbean, particularly with diving and marine life enthusiasts. Its stunning lagoon is home to manatees, saltwater crocodiles and dolphins, among others, as well as numerous species of tropical fish. In addition to an excursion into the mangrove and some snorkelling, you will be able to discover the Mopan and Kekchi Mayan civilisations.

Half Moon Caye
8Day

Half Moon Caye

Our final stop will bring us to the tropical green crescent of Half Moon Caye, the oldest protected marine and ornithological area in Central America. Crystal-clear waters, beaches lined with coconut trees and an incredible underwater world make this a delightful place to round off our expedition. Take a snorkelling excursion to spot sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, eels and groupers, or enjoy a walk along the coastal forest in search of geckos and a large colony of red-footed boobies.

Belize City - Disembark
9Day

Belize City - Disembark

Your expedition concludes back in Belize City where it will be sadly time to disembark and bid a fond farewell to your expedition team. A transfer to the airport for your included flight back to Cancun will be provided. Should you wish to extend your stay here we would be happy to help you arrange this.
