Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park

After breakfast, set off on a full-day adventure to Arusha National Park, just a scenic 45-minute drive from Hamerkop House. Despite its compact size, the park is incredibly diverse, offering game drives through lush forests, open savannah, and the sparkling Momella Lakes. Keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, buffalo, colobus monkeys, and a wide variety of birdlife, including the park’s famous flamingos. Enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch in a picturesque spot, followed by more game viewing or time to relax by one of the lakes.

Arusha National Park is home to the towering Mount Meru, whose slopes and craters shape the park’s dramatic landscapes. It’s now time for some post-safari bliss as you bid farewell to the wildlife wonders of the Serengeti and make your way towards the serene shores of Zanzibar off Tanzania’s east coast. After an early breakfast at the camp, you'll transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your scheduled flight.

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by a representative who will escort you by road to the coast. From there, a scenic boat transfer across the turquoise waters brings you to the magnificent Bawe Island resort, your luxurious island escape.

Nestled in the Indian Ocean just off the coast of Stone Town, Bawe Island Resort offers an idyllic change of pace.
